Sinopsis / Synopsis
La actriz y cantante mexicana Diana Mariscal alcanzó un instante de fama en la lejana década de los sesenta cuando su peculiar estilo, que mezclaba de manera fascinante inocencia y sensualidad, la llevaron a interpretar varios éxitos musicales y a estelarizar ̶ con tan sólo 18 años de edad ̶ la película “Fando y Lis” del controvertido artista Alejandro Jodorowsky. Aquel instante parecía representar el verdadero despegue de la carrera de Diana, pero la vida le depararía otra suerte y su figura pública quedaría sumergida en un profundo e indescifrable misterio que la terminaría condenando al olvido. 40 años después, sin embargo, las huellas de su existencia no han podido ser borradas por el paso del tiempo.
Mexican actress and singer Diana Mariscal reached a moment of fame in the distant 60s, when her peculiar style that mixed innocence and style in a fascinating manner lead her to play in various musical hits of the time and to star, when only 18 years old, in the first feature film by controversial artist Alejandro Jodorowsky, “Fando and Lis” (1968). That moment seemed to be Diana’s real career take-off, but life would bring about a different fate, and her public image would remain thereafter submerged in a profound and unfathomable mystery that would gradually dilute her presence, until condemning her practically to oblivion. Forty years later, however, the traces of her existence have survived the test of time.
