Consider joining your local Citizens’ Climate Lobby group and join in writing letters to your representatives, and convincing others we need a Carbon Fee with 100% Dividend. (This is the way the Citizens’ Climate Lobby phrases an annually increasing carbon fee, where 100% of that fee is returned to you and every U.S. citizen. The carbon fee will cause energy prices to rise, and you will get that fee back so yo can afford those rising prices. Eventually energy from coal will cost more than energy from wind and solar, and we will phase out energy from coal. Former Secretary of State George Schultz calls this a Revenue Neutral Carbon Tax. It is not a tax, because 100% of the “tax” is returned to you and all U.S. citizens. This “tax” does not go to the government.)
